The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) began the process of awarding non-technical aspects of the election tenders…thousands of bids have been received in 26 different categories.

The tender committee began sorting out the bids which contained tender documents and samples. This will be followed by the evaluation and then awards. Ken Mijungu was there and reports that this is among the wider measures taken by the institution to restore the dwindling confidence among voters.
