Blush - Give it to me baby |
|
Blush was a South African studio disco group that evolved from another local studio group, Odyssey. Odyssey featured:
• Miriam Stockley (vocals) • Malie Kelly (vocals) • Mike Pilot (vocals, guitar) • Hugh Bush (rhythm guitar, keyboards) Odyssey released only one album, "Out Of This World", in 1978, but it was possibly the first South African album to be pressed on multi-coloured vinyl. Blush featured: • Miriam Stockley – vocals • Michele Stuhler – vocals • Sonja van Mellenthin – vocals (replaced Miriam Stockley) This song was released as a 7” single on red vinyl in 1979. As the label is blank, I have derived the song title from the lyrics, but it is most possibly incorrect. I have since learned that the song's title is actually "La La La", and is featured on Neville Nash's album "Diamonds And Pearls And Solid Gold", released in 1982. In fact, this version sounds like an exact replica of Neville's version. |
