Impostor syndrome is the feeling of doubting ourselves when we are in a new environment with a much bigger role that we think aren't deserving of. Dr. Peterson believes that this feeling is totally normal and should not detract from that person's perfomance at his/her new job. Dr. Peterson believes that if that person embraces the fact that he/she doesn't know enough and uses that to fuel their thirst for knowledge then that feeling can bring more good than harm.
