Challenges to Global Anti-Black Racism: A Conversation

Black Lives Matter has become a global political banner igniting marches and the political imagination of thousands around the world. The solidarity marches and demands for the ending of anti-black racism around the world have made this moment a significant one in the early 21st century. This conversation was a dialogue about the global challenges to anti-black racism. This third conversation in the Center for the Study of Slavery and Justice's 'This is America' series was held in collaboration with the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs.

Panelists included Prof. Geri Augusto (Brown University); Wilson Mattos (Brazil); Françoise Vergès (France); Zandra Yeaman, Campaigner, The Coalition for Racial Equality and Rights, (UK); and Mitchell Esajas, Coordinator and Co-founder, Black Archives, (Netherlands).
