Tshwanelo Modise discusses the rise of technology access in Africa and how it has sparked creativity and innovation among Africans. She attributes this to the cultural value of Ubuntu, which emphasizes inclusivity and leaving no one behind. This combination of African culture and technology has given rise to the concept of Afrotech, which is technology for Africa by Africans. She also emphasizes the importance of inclusive innovation and empowering young tech talent. She concludes by inviting Africans to use their unique flair and problem-solving skills to innovate from the heart and commit to a future where everybody belongs. Tshwanelo Modise is a Product Design expert who is passionate about the power of ideas. As a creative problem-solver, Tshwanelo is driven by curiosity and motivated by crafting work that impacts people's lives positively. As a creative technologist who is innovating towards a future where no one gets left behind, Tshwanelo hopes that her contributions to the field of socio-informatics will prompt the world to look to Africa for the blueprint of inclusive innovation.
