Everyone knew I was getting engaged this day except for me lol! It totally took me off guard...Let me give some background info for context...So Justin (my husband) and I were both taking a 9 month bible course at our church and this was our graduation day.

We had been dating for about 5 years before we got engaged. We met in college. After college we were long distance for about 2 years until he relocated to where I was and moved in with one of his college friends....We didn't start off celibate but we decided to give our lives and our relationship to God and become celibate (a year or so after college) and we kept that promise for 4 years (up until our wedding).

I couldn't have planned this proposal better if I did it myself. It happened in such a God moment, everyone I loved was there...my Pastors, my family, and my friends...all inside the church that changed my life in front of the God that made it all possible.

It meant so much because when I decided to be real with God and seen Him change my life completely, I wanted my life to be a witness to what God can do if you just give Him your all.

Let me explain a little little more lol.....

So in the video when my Pastor called me up He called to give me a Word of hope/encouragement from God called prophecy. At that time in the video, I was in a major pageant and put all my energy, prayers, money, time, and resources into it for about a year straight. I had everyone I knew rooting for me and people I didn't even know. I broke records in the first pageant that led up to the national pageant and ended up not even placing in the national pageant. It broke my spirits so much for more reasons I then I can explain right now...maybe in another video....but I needed that Word that day and everything my Pastor said even before the proposal was 100% accurate and I never shared those things with him. So it was definitely a divine Word from God speaking through my Pastor. Needless to say the entire moment from prophecy to proposal was emotional! But it showed me how just when you think the enemy won or defeated you God has a blessing that will overtake you bigger than what you could even imagine.

So I wanted to share this with you so you can be inspired too 🤍🤍🤍
