I wanted to improvise music for meditation and sleep on pipe organ with a cathedral ambience, so I recorded myself late at night on August 1, 2022 on the 1924 Skinner pipe organ at First UMC Pasadena, CA. I added the "Valhalla Room" reverb to achieve the sound of a massive dark cathedral, so the space heard here is exponentially bigger than where the organ actually lives. I invite you to play this while taking a nap, and let your dreams carry you off to a medieval church built from stone in an ancient time. 🎶💤
