#RTPinConvo: Honouring Truth & Reconciliation

Hosted by Right To Play Canada on September 28, 2021, and powered by National Bank, this Indigenous leaders panel discussed ways we can all work to honour Truth and Reconciliation. Through sharing knowledge and experience, this panel aimed to create a space where we can listen, learn and work to heal from the tragic legacy of colonization and residential schools in Canada.

This Indigenous Leaders panel includes:
· Laura McPhie - #RTPInConvo Host and Manager of Right To Play's Indigenous Programs.
· Rachel Mishenene, Right To Play’s Executive Director of Indigenous Programs and member of Eabametoong First Nation and blood born to Mishkegogamang First Nation
· Taylor Behn-Tsakoza, Youth Co-Chair for the Assembly of First Nations, member of Fort Nelson First Nation
· Reeta Kosstachin, filmmaker, public speaker, member of Omushkegowuk member of Attawapiskat and Fort Albany First Nations
· Gabrielle Fayant, of the A7G - Assembly of Seven Generations and member of Fishing Lake Métis Settlement

Right To Play is committed to not only acknowledging the historical legacies of colonization in Canada and the ways colonial systems continue to impact Indigenous peoples today, but also to being an active ally and participant in reconciliation.
