video thumbnail
Social factors experienced across the life course—from infancy to adulthood—influence cognitive function, dementia, stroke, and other health outcomes in old age. Join us as we discuss early factors that influence the life course, as well as health prevention and interventions. This panel will also discuss the long-running population-based Rotterdam cohort study that investigated the causes of age-related diseases, and the Generation R study, a study that was designed to study the early environmental and genetic causes of normal and abnormal growth, development and health from fetal life until young adulthood.
