Hazrat Aisha Siddiqa (R.A.) is the narrator that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "The prayer for which miswak is applied (i.e. during ablution) is seventy degrees superior to the prayer for which maswak is not applied." (beyhaqi)

Explanation:
The virtue of miswak is being expressed from this hadith that because of miswak, there is a lack of ranks and degrees of prayer, so it is being said that if a person prayed one prayer in such a way that he performed that prayer. Therefore, if one performs miswak at the time of ablution and prays a prayer in such a way that one did not perform maswak during ablution, then the first prayer for which maswak was performed is compared to the prayer for which maswak was not performed. It will be as if the reward of the first prayer is seventy sins more than the second prayer.

Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Masoud (R.A.) says that I asked the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) which deed is most liked by Allah Ta'ala. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "To pray on time (i.e., not to pray at an abominable time)." I said, "Then which action is better?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Being kind to your parents." I asked, "Then which action is better?" Abdullah Ibn Masoud (RA) says that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) had explained these things to me.
