Pancit Palabok is one of the most favorite Filipino noodle dish which is originated in China. It is called palabok because of the bright orange thick sauce, served with sautéed ground pork, slices of boiled egg, fried prawns, pork chicharon bits, chopped green onions as toppings, with a squeeze of calamansi juice on the top to balance the taste and to have a citrusy flavor. Normally, pancit palabok has tinapa flakes on it as well, however I prefer without it.

It is best served during celebrations, like feasts, birthdays, baptism, Christmas, New Year name it or even just for snacks, you don’t need a special occasion to have this amazing dish.
