The concept of a silent heart attack is when someone has a heart attack and doesn’t know it, affirms Dr. Jonathan Fialkow, Chief Population Health Officer with Baptist Health South Florida.
People can have heart attacks without having chest discomfort, sweating, indigestion and back pain among others, he explains.
The person who’s most likely to have a heart attack is someone who has already had a heart attack.
