A 100 mile journey that takes a day. A 100 year journey that takes a life time. Barry Shaw Sackett comes to TEDx after 50 years of being alive and on a quest to live another 50. In the first 50, he has been recovering from alcoholism for 15 years and been practicing law for 26. He has been a parent for 11 years and an adopted parent for 4. He has been a runner for 42 years and running every day since November 4, 2009. He has been married for 14 years and has been a son his whole life.
