Shawn Booth Is Legit Crying Over His and Kaitlyn Bristowe's Break Up. Shawn Booth and Kaitlyn Bristowe are officially over, but Shawn is having a hard time moving on. Kaitlyn has been dating fellow Bachelor universe dude Jason Tartick, and Shawn is trying to channel that "thank you, next" vibe, but it's easier said than done. After saying Kaitlyn is "blasting it [her new relationship] all over the place knowing that it could hurt" to Ashley Iaconetti and Ben Higgins on their Almost Famous: In Depth podcast last week, Shawn is bearing his soul and letting the tears flow. He joined them, again, on Sunday to talk about the five stages of grief. He confessed it feels like their love is dead and even said he now questions everything they had because she was able to move on. Right. Anyway, he said, "I'm going through the mourning process now, whereas she could have been earlier." Shawn is most likely referencing his previous statement that Kaitlyn and Jason actually started dating right after they broke up, and they're just now going public with it. He added that he's just trying to make sense of all his feelings. "I'm just trying to figure it all out and sit with my emotions and figure out what I'm feeling," he said. "You know? I think the old Shawn would have ignored everything…But now as I get a little bit older, I'm trying to figure out what hurts, why it hurts and kind of work through it." Sounds like some major growth right there, though he admits evolving like this can be "tough."
