Bollywood has seen many controversial love stories and extra marital affairs till date and the most shocking one among them was the affair of Big B. Big B had a secret affair with none other than bollywood actress Rekha while he was already married to Jaya Bachchan. Rekha is the evergreen actress of Bollywood and Amitabh Bachchan’s extra marital affair with Rekha created a lot of buzz in the tinsel town. There were many gossips and rumours about their hush hush affair but the most shocking one was that Big B slapped Rekha in front of everyone. Well, unfortunately, this shocking rumour was not a rumour and it happened really and this incident took place in front of everyone. In spite of being married to Jaya ji, Big B fell in love with Rekha and started having an affair with her and kept it secret. They used to meet secretly with each other and there were even rumours about the couple that Big B secretly married Rekha too. This news got confirmed when Rekha appeared at Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor’s wedding, wearing sindoor. This raised many eyebrows at the wedding and Rekha openly confirmed that She and Big B got married. If they were really that much happy then what made Big B slap the diva of Bollywood?Well, Big led a very colourful life then and he also had a womanizing nature in him back then. In his movie Lawaaris, the makers chose an Iranian dancer for the role of a cabaret dancer in the movie. As per the reports back then, Big B fell in love with the Iranian dancer at first sight and both of them became friends. Later their friendship went onto next level and there were reports that Big B was spending a lot time with that Iranian dancer. When came to know about Big B’s closeness with the Iranian dancer. She directly came on the sets of Big B’s film and confronted him. The crew members of the movie were shocked as the two Bollywood stars were fighting with each other in front of them. As per reports, Rekha was really upset and was asking questions to Big B and was crying while Amitabh was silent as he was guilty of all the accusations. But Rekha gradually got angry started to scream on him and said few bad words which Big B could not tolerate. Amitabh Bachchan got angry on Rekha and slapped her several times in front of everyone. The crew members got really shocked by this behaviour of the actor. Rekha felt really insulted and left the place immediately. Being embarrassed Rekha stopped talking with Big B though Amitabh Bachchan tried to apologise to her but she was not ready to forgive him for what he did. And all these happened during when Amitabh Bachchan was already married to Jaya Bachchan. As per the reports, Rekha even denied to do the movie Silsila as Amitabh Bachchan was also casted in the movie. Later, it was ace filmmaker Yash Chopra, who convinced Rekha to do the movie Silsila, which was actually a reel life adaptation of the real-life story of Big B, Jaya Bachchan and Rekha. After Silsila, Rekha never did a movie with the senior Bachchan but she still wears sindoor for him only.
