SO I was lucky enough to spend some time with this wonderful Polestar, the first and probably only ever Polestar Plugin Hybrid. It's not a supercar but it's a very special one that is limited to a run of just 1,500 units worldwide with production coming to an end in 2022.

0-62 time is 4.2 seconds and it has a maximum power output of over 600hp and 1000nm of torque. In this review, we look at the Polestar 1 interior, exterior styling, boot space, and acceleration, and then give it a full road test.

The Polestar 1 looks to be an instant collector's item but what's it like as a driver's car? does it make any sense? This one here may be even more collectible as it's exhaust has been poked by the famous Mat Waston Stick of Truth.

Is this very rare Polestar 1 the ultimate Gran Tourer or is it overpriced and underwhelming? Is it actually worth £139k?
