Donald Trump has been disqualified from the 2024 ballot by the Colorado Supreme Court.

The former president’s disqualification is related to the January 6 Capital Hill riots.

The ruling ended 4-3 and the decision has stayed until January 4, with appeals over the decision expected from Trump’s team.

The court released a statement following the ruling on their decision saying: “We do not reach these conclusions lightly. We are mindful of the magnitude and weight of the questions now before us.”

Trump has labelled the decision “completely flawed” as he continues to dominate the presidential election polls while Biden trails behind.
