Eudaimonia is the Stoic Happiness Triangle that comprises of 3 fundamental areas for supreme stoic happiness. Eudaimonia is a greek word that roughly translates to being on good terms with your highest self.

The 3 aspects of this stoic triangle of happiness are living with Areté, Focus on what you can control and taking responsibility. Naturally, all of these are linked and help one move closer to a happier existence. Whenever I’m asked how stoicism made me happier, I always refer people to age old teachings of Aristotle, daily stoic Marcus Aurelius and the Eudaimonia Stoic Happiness Triangle.

Stoic Philosophy helps shift the view you view yourself and the world around and can even give you answers if you’re wondering how to be happy or how to be a stoic. There has been a lot that has discussed about the relationship between stoicism and happiness, or how to be stoic, and much of the answers can be found by understanding the Eudaimonia Stoic Happiness Triangle.
