Who should be responsible for sex-education of our youth? Elissa takes a pragmatic approach to sex-education in the Australian school system and challenges parents and teachers alike to evolve their approach. Elissa has enjoyed 15 years practicing and teaching Medicine. With a background in General Practice, Elissa has established a thriving Women’s Health practice in regional Australia across both the private and public medical sector. Elissa is also an enthusiastic teacher and mentor for students and junior doctors, and is also involved with community groups, participating in panel discussions and education.
