Everton released a statement on Friday morning confirming that Carlo Ancelotti's players and the coaching staff would be taking measures to reduce the risk of coronavirus spread after an unnamed member of their team appeared to show symptoms. It means Liverpool's visit to Goodison for the 236th Merseyside derby is expected to be postponed as the governing bodies of the sport continue to thrash out a plan going forward following recent outbreaks across the division. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi have both tested positive for COVID-19 and the Premier League are meeting on Friday morning to decide on the next course of action amid calls to re-arrange the weekend's round of top-flight fixtures.
