Mr. Sukhamrit, in his talk, asked everyone to think about two pictures, one showing equality on Mother Earth and another with humans on top, having an advantage. He talked about how we're not taking care of other species, especially cows, and described the tough life they face in dairy farms. He pointed out the change in our relationship with animals over time, driven by greed and causing problems like climate change. Mr. Sukhamrit suggested that his DREAM is to encourage people to take a kinder approach, connecting with cows, and choosing alternatives to dairy. The upside-down triangle and circle pictures, accompanying his talk, reminded us of our responsibility to care for all beings and make Mother Earth proud.
SUKHAMRIT SINGH, an alumni of Bishop Cotton School, has been into family business since 2013. He currently works with Marriott, Fern and Sarovar in hotels and is actively involved in Fastway transmission private limited and Netplus Broadband private Limited apart from water parks and a Mall in Ludhiana. He had met Maitreya Dadashreeji in the year 2013, and since then has been working towards bringing a positive shift in the society by taking up social causes and organising spiritual sessions. He also heads a cow shelter project under KamDhenu Gau Dhaam Trust, Amritsar which was founded by Maitreya Dadashreeji. Here the team rescues and rehabilitate abandoned cows for the
streets from the city and are currently housing roughly 300 cows. Following the words of his Divine Friend and Guide Maitreya Dadashreeji, "Through seva not just you but society itself is transformed.” Sukhamrit loves to volunteer for good causes.
