Like Aragorn, he displays healthy masculinity, but he’s also humble, tender, strong, and teachable. They discuss how Rocky is a classic underdog story and probably the first to do it well. The character means a lot to Jonathan because of the valuable lessons about love, family, grief, and getting back up when life knocks you down. The training montages and frolicking in short shorts are a bonus.
