Priyadarshan Indian film director speaks about film 'Hungama'. He says, "Basically, a lot of friends and producers and mostly people receiving a lot of letters after the film 'Hera Pheri' and they are telling that they want to see a film similar so I was thinking how did I do that and that's how the subject was formed. I thought ok I will make a film similar not similar but a fun film again I'll try on more film so that's how it was worked out.

It is really difficult to tell the subject of Hungama because it is a total situation comedy there are total 26 characters in the film who only meet only in the climax otherwise they are all misunderstanding each other's for different reasons so this is the whole confusion of the film and it is how it spoils the love relationships, how it spoils a family but is a total audience the characters are all seriously doing things and for audience it is fun".
