Babies are born with 100 billion neurons, by 3 years of age, 85% of brain connections are formed. In this talk child psychologist, Christina Enright delves into role our very first relationships play in this formation and brain development. Delving into Harvard research and the ‘Still Face’ experiment developed by Dr Edward Tronick, Christina presents a strong argument on how relationships wire children’s brains and help them to develop their personal resilience.

Over the past twelve years Christina has worked as a psychotherapist with children, adolescents and their families in a variety of settings. Christina has a special interest in the brain development, trauma and attachment; in particular, how parenting impacts on the global development, mental health and personality of a child, as well as how this manifests in human behaviour across the lifespan.
