There are 5 major positions in any multicamera control room, they are, The Director, The Technical Director/Switcher, Audio, Graphics/video Playback and video shader. Each one of these positions have a specific job to perform and the proper placement in the control room will help them achieve their best results. Some of the positions can be grouped together when there simply is not enough people to do all the tasks.
