Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveils the life-size statue of Swami Vivekananda in the Jawaharlal Nehru University campus. The unveiling ceremony was done virtually and following the unveiling of the statue at the JNU campus, PM Modi addresses the nation. Along with PM Modi, Education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal also addressed the JNU students and the nation in general. Prime Minister Modi shares his heartfelt gratitude to both the faculty and the students who worked hard and made this ceremony successful. Ramesh Pokhriyal states that the PM has given us a mission.

In his address, PM Modi talks about the valuable lessons drawn from Swami Vivekananda's life. Further, PM adds that he hopes that the statue of divinity and compassion will invoke the same feelings in the students of the JNU. Prime Minister Narendra Modi further elaborates upon the idea of Atmanirbhar Bharat and the National Education Policy.
