Indigenous survivors of violence and trauma are being offered counselling to help them heal as Canada faces its record of neglect. The National Inquiry into Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women and Girls makes its final report on June 3, 2019. The report, obtained by CBC News ahead of its release, says violence experienced by thousands of Indigenous women and girls is part of a 'Canadian genocide.'
