In his ‘spiteful’ post, Piers compared her to a Halloween creature. He wrote, “I thought Halloween was in October? However, recently, Piers added fuel to the fire, commenting on Queen Madonna’s Instagram post. Former Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan has come under fire from fans after commenting on pop icon Madonna's 'youthful' appearance at the Grammy Awards in LA. Madonna, 64, was seen looking wrinkle free with plumped up lips and a very taut face as she made a surprise debut on stage at the Crypto.com Arena to introduce Sam Smith and Kim Petras ahead of their performance of Unholy.

Whilst fans rushed to social media to question the Material Girl's 'unrecognizable' appearance, Piers took to social media to share his thoughts in his typically outspoken way. Alongside a screaming emoji, and posting a close-up pic of Madonna at the bash, the 57-year-old TV presenter dryly asked fans: "I thought Halloween was in October?"

Whilst the tweet might have been in jest, Piers was inundated with criticism from his fellow social media users who deemed his comment unnecessary. Madonna’s fans flocked to the comments section and slammed Piers for his brutal dig.

“What’s your problem?” one tweeted, while another suggested: “Live and let live, Piers!” “This is getting unhealthy now, Piers, there’s a trend,” said another.

Speaking to Jeremy Kyle, Piers quipped: "I think she’s become the most grotesque, trainwreck embarrassment in the history of world entertainment.” He went on to express his view that Madonna was a “hot mess who should be put out to pasture,” and also blasted the star for what he called 'trying to be a venereal kitten when you're in your sixties.'

Madonna’s fans quickly took to Twitter and slammed Morgan for his ‘misogynistic’ remarks. “She’s iconic, she’s one of the biggest pop stars ever, you just don’t like her,” tweeted one fan.

The heated Feud dates back decades, and bizarrely, it all started with Piers chucking a bread roll at the pop sensation. Their rumpus started in the 1990s but it really escalated in 2001 when the pair both attended celebrity chef Marco Pierre White's 40th birthday party. According to Piers, an obnoxious Madonna who was there with then husband guy Richie took offense to late comic Bernard Manning's routine so he launched a bread roll at her, as you do. “Madonna is pretty awful. She never forgave me for throwing a bread roll at her at Marco Pierre White's birthday,” Piers told OK! Magazine.

He continued, “she was with guy Ritchie at the time and he’d been laughing his head off… I just picked up a bread roll and chucked it at her.”
