When people talk about a “Cinderella Story,” they’re often referring to the romantic aspect of the fairytale, but what they tend to gloss over is all the death surrounding her story. In fact, two of the most notable characters in Cinderella’s life experienced the death of their father and it had literal world-altering effects. Even though Anastasia and Drizella were portrayed as the “Evil Stepsisters,” their story is still one that will break your heart. In fact, it sort of makes you wonder if, had they been allowed to grow up with their father, their story might’ve turned out in an entirely different way.
