The story got really exciting when Milton had to decide whether to leave Earth with the alien or fix his tough relationship with his daughter, who finally realized her father wasn't just an old man with wild stories. He chose to stay, making his bond with his family and friends strong again. In the end, Milton's life was no longer just about council meetings or being alone.
