This is a tribute to the comedy of Greg Giraldo who passed away at the all too young age of 44.

Gregory Giraldo was a stand-up comedian, television personality, and Harvard educated lawyer. He is best remembered for his cutting and controversial jokes on Comedy Central's televised roast specials. Greg Giraldo was also known for his work on Comedy Central's Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, Lewis Black's Root of All Evil, and the programming block Stand-Up Nation, the last of which he hosted. Greg Giraldo died of a prescription drug overdose in 2010. He had struggled with addiction for years and was reportedly high on meth when he roasted William Shatner on Comedy Central.
