Te Karere presenter Scotty Morrison spoke to Hauraki-Waikato MP Nanaia Mahuta at Te Kūiti Pā this morning. The spoke about the significance of today’s unveiling of the renewed pou kara in Te Kūiti, the progress of Ngāti Maniapoto’s negotiations with the Crown for their treaty claim, whether her work on the Maniapoto claim will jeopardise her re-electability as MP for Hauraki-Waikato as well as when the Labour Party will reveal their MP list in the upcoming general elections.
