Long Weekend in San Francisco | Itinerary for 4 days

video thumbnail
This video is about our long weekend in San Francisco. A 3.5-day itinerary of adventure, breathtaking sunsets, and delicious food! #redhairtravel #sanfrancisco

San Francisco is worth seeing once than hearing about it a thousand times. It's the kind of place that should be on your American bucket list, a dream destination, a must-visit, etc. I have to admit that this place was not at the top of my personal list. I got there and was stunned. How? Why hadn't we met before?

San Francisco is a diverse city. A couple of blocks, a step to the left, a step to the right, and you're in Europe, or New York, or a seaside resort. And if you get out of the city... To be honest, four days was not enough for this trip.

There are a lot of homeless people here, but they live mostly in a few blocks near Union Square. I've read horror stories of broken windows and trunks ripped out in broad daylight, so we only rented a car for 2 days for a trip to the coast. We explored downtown on foot, by taxi and by cable car.

The food in San Francisco is delicious and expensive. If you don't care about nature and historical sites, you can safely go for gastronomic adventures, gourmet food and molecular experiments. Just do not forget a fat wallet! No kidding.

In the IT capital of the world the internet is pretty slow, garbage on the streets is sorted only in trendy neighborhoods and not even in all trendy cafes, people cross the road at red traffic lights. But Chinatown is the cleanest and prettiest, the city has lots of old buildings, great weather, athletic people, and they let you ride the old cable car standing on the footboard, barely holding the handrail🤗.

The ocean is incredible! We were lucky with the weather, there was no fog. San Francisco has a lot of nature. There are sea lions on the pier in Downtown, and we met a wild sea elephant on the beach. Lots of beautiful sights, as you will see in this video.

Overall, the trip was very cool! Thanks to all my local friends who sent recommendations and helpful tips❤️
