Science can spark inspiration in all of us and for Dr. Umit Ozkan, electrocatalysis provided this inspiration. Dr. Ozkan shares her story growing up in Turkey and how her passion for science has translated into a lifelong career in catalysis and electrocatalysis research. In doing so, Dr. Ozkan provides insight to how we can revolutionize large-scale processes for food, chemical and fuel production and create a more sustainable tomorrow. Umit Ozkan teaches Chemical Engineering at Ohio State. Her research focuses on catalysis and electrocatalysis, with applications relevant to energy, environment and sustainability.
