Rescuers worked through a frigid night to look for survivors in earthquake-stricken areas across Turkey and Syria as the death toll climbed to 3,800. A massive earthquake of magnitude 7.8 rippled through both countries early on Monday, toppling entire apartment blocks, wrecking hospitals, and leaving thousands more people injured or homeless. It was followed by two quakes of magnitude 7.6 and 6.0 in Turkey. Search and rescue operations are currently underway in the two nations. Dozens of nations have pledged aid and assistance to the two nations.
