Inside Justice: What bail reform in New York will mean for you

Bail reform is coming. Suspects accused of most misdemeanors, nonviolent felonies and certain robbery and burglary charges will be released without bail under reforms starting Jan. 1. Some say the changes will jeopardize public safety while others say the new law will prevent poor people from languishing in jail.
