Honkai: Star Rail is an all-new strategy-RPG title in the Honkai series that takes players on a cosmic adventure across the stars. Since the moment it was announced earlier last month, the new entry in the Honkai series has captured the attention of many people. No matter if they are veterans of the Honkai series, Genshin Impact players, or just gacha players that like turned-based combat, a lot of people are hyped and excited for the game. With the upcoming BETA on the way, hopefully, we will be able to learn more information about how the game works.

A constant among the fans of the series, and new players alike, is the question of how Honkai: Star Rail is connected with Honkai Impact 3rd and, most importantly if you need to play the previous title in the series in order to understand and enjoy the new game. In this video I will answer this question, and also will provide you with more information regarding how the two games are connected, about the honkaiverse, and explain the initial set-up and lore of Honkai: Star Rail.
