Welcome to FIFA Career Mode! In todays video im going through 15 of the tips i wish i knew when i started out, and hopefully will help you to have fun in my favourite area of FIFA!

Youth
Do the training manually until you have an A grade for each variation
This makes your players improve faster and you’ll get to know some of your players abilities for shooting/dribbling/defending etc.

Coming from FUT this might be strange, but sometimes you should run a weaker team rather than your 11 best players
Look for cheaper young players on the transfer list
Once developed you’ll be able to sell them for a lot more money
The youth academy can be used to make boosted players
Its easy to fill your youth academy with 90 potential players who will usually reach that rating, make sure youre taking advantage

Team and Squad
Rotate your players to keep them sharp

Decide what kind of Career Mode you’d like to do
Do you want to build a team up, or chase success straight away?
Pick a team you like irl
Makes it easier to know the squad

Fun and Realism
Use preseason to experiment with difficulty
CM is more fun when its a challenge, make sure you arent winning 9-0 every week
Dont expect to win every game
Restarting games when something unfair happens will make the game get boring, take the ups with the downs
If youre finding the game too tough or too easy
consider using sliders to fine tune the AI difficulty.


General
Save regularly
You’ll make mistakes with transfers or scouting, make sure you can fix your mistakes once you realise them.
Read the help tips as they pop up
These do give quite a lot of visual information that cant be found anywhere else
No matter how badly you do, you wont totally lose your save
You’ll always get offers from worse teams, but this is a chance to build your way back up
