Binghamton University alumnus Christopher Fix ’86 has been CEO of the Dubai Mercantile Exchange since Aug. 2012. With a wealth of experience, he has developed the exchange’s engagement with shareholders and stakeholders and continues to focus on growing the business efficiency, actively fostering a world-class energy platform for the clients of the group and expanding the DME Benchmark footprint in both the Middle East and North African and East of Suez markets.

Christopher Fix is currently working on broadening the appeal of the Dubai Mercantile Exchange throughout the Crude Oil Trading & Marketing community as the only true Benchmark for crude oil East of Suez. The DME is situated in the Arabian Gulf on top of the world's largest proven deposits of oil facing the fastest economic growth rates globally.
