video thumbnail
You only need one thing to have a good day, suggests Charlie Coon in this introspective talk: a good attitude. He examines the impact of thought on all aspects of our life, and provides a unique theory on how we can utilize our mind to reshape our lives.

Charlie Coon is a 12th grade homeschooler with a knack for finding a way to make anyone smile. Through his love of debate, basketball, and life itself, he aspires to make the world a better place. His dedication to being a strong man of God and a force for good have lead to a unique worldview that he shares in this TED Talk.

The TED-Ed Clubs program supports students in discovering, exploring and presenting their big ideas in the form of short, TED-style talks. In TED-Ed Clubs, students work together to discuss and celebrate creative ideas. Club Leaders receive TED-Ed's flexible curriculum to guide their Members in developing presentation literacy skills to help inspire tomorrow's TED speakers and future leaders.

This presentation was completed by participating in a TED-Ed Club and produced independently of the TED Conferences. Only approved Club Leaders are able to upload TED-Ed Club presentations on behalf of their students. Check out ed.ted.com/clubs if you're interested in starting a Club.
