Jennifer gave the talk whilst studying for the IB Diploma in Year 13 at Sha Tin College. She spoke passionately about some of the horror stories of abuse suffered by Helpers at the hands of their employers, citing the example of Erwiana Sulistyaningsih, who was abused by her employer in Hong Kong recently. Her talk focuses on the positive action that can be taken by Hong Kong residents to help the plight of all Helpers in the region. Jennifer was for many years a Sha Tin College student. She played a leading role in many school activities, and was a keen member of the Student Council. Jennifer has a passion for public-speaking regarding social issues, and is a highly-respected student by her peers and teachers.
