Abu Qatadah (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: Good dreams are from Allah, and bad dreams are from Satan, so when one of you sees an unpleasant dream, pray three times. Spit on the left side and seek refuge with Allah from its evil, he cannot harm him by doing so.
Sunan al-Tirmidhi al-Albani: Hadith number 2277




Abu Rozeen Aqili (RA) says that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: The dream of a believer is the fortieth part of prophethood, and until the interpretation of a dream is explained, it is in the claw of a bird, then when the interpretation is If a dream is described, it becomes a reality 1. Aburazin says: I think you also said: Narrate the dream only to someone who is wise or with whom you are friends.
Explanation: 1: That is, until the interpretation of this dream is not explained, this dream remains suspended, there is no rest for it, it gets a resolution only after the interpretation is given. Al-Shaykh Al-Albani said: Sahih, Al-Sahih (120), al-Mishkaa (4622 / Al-Habiq al-Thani) Sahih and the Sunan of al-Tirmidhi al-Albani: Hadith No. 2278



Abu Hurairah (RA) says that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: There are three types of dreams. I see, and there is a dream that comes from Satan and causes grief and shock, so whoever sees something unpleasant in a dream, he should get up and pray. (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to say: I like to see shackles in my dream and I hate to see shackles. If someone saw me in a dream, then it was me, because Satan cannot take my form.
