Dr. Michael Klaper, M.D. is a physician, speaker and educator. He graduated from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 1972; served a medical internship at Vancouver General Hospital in BC, Canada; received training in surgery, anesthesiology and obstetrics at the University of California Hospital, San Francisco; served as the Director of the Institute of Nutrition Education and Research (1992-2015); practiced acute-care medicine in New Zealand for 3 years; served on the staff of the True North Health Centre in Santa Rosa, California from 2009-2018; he is a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, and the American Medical Student Association's Nutrition Task Force; and he currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Plantrician Project and the International Journal of Disease Reversal and Prevention.
