My bowflex maxtrainer m5 kept resetting and failing to start a program. The simple fix was the power adapter for $11. Evidently, the machine wasn't getting enough power, or inconsistent power to start. History: I called the nautilus tech support and they kept sending me parts to try. I ended up shipping them back and getting a refund since they did not solve the problem. The initially sent me a new button pad, then console, then cables, sensors, etc. But the solution was the power adapter that plugs into the wall on one end and the machine at the other end. Their tech support is awesome... literally a 15 second at most, hold time and people that speak clear english and are fast and efficient. Parts are much cheaper than on ebay, etc. Customer Care (ie tech support) ph# (800) 605-3369, Monday-Friday, 6 AM to 5 PM PST.

Also, i have fixed the clunking/knocking noise with wave washers that go on the inside of the arms. you can order those also!
