What’s the connection between H. Pylori infections and Hashimoto’s? It’s not compltely understood but it appears to be likely that gut infections with H. Pylori may be trigger Hashimoto’s in otherwise healthy people. In addition, H. Pylori infections also may potentially trigger flare-ups in those who have Hashimoto’s. No matter what, it’s a good idea to be tested for H. Pylori and treated if you have Hashimoto’s beacuse at best you may see some improvement in your thyroid and at worst, it’s still something you need to get rid of. #hashimotosthyroiditis #hashimoto #hpylori #gutproblems #thyroid
