Residents ‘shocked’ as 75 trees damaged in Dublin park |

“I think it’s disgraceful.” Local residents have been reacting to an act of vandalism that saw up to 75 trees being cut down or damaged in Dublin’s Dodder Valley Park over the weekend.
South Dublin County Council told RTÉ News that 25 mature trees and around 50 saplings were destroyed in the incident and the cost of the damage is estimated at €33,000.
