That is the view of former Arsenal striker turned Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas, who says bringing in David Luiz and Nicolas Pepe is exciting for the club. The Gunners were not expected to be particularly active in the transfer window this summer with rumours circulating that Unai Emery only had around £40m to spend. But those claims were blown out of the water after six new faces arrived at a combined cost of around £140m.
