Novak Djokovic has won his 24th Grand Slam title at the 2023 US Open against Daniil Medvedev. Him and Rafael Nadal have been dominating the so called "Next Gen" on Grand slam stage for years. Stefanos Tsitsipas, Casper Ruud, Matteo Berretini, Nick Kyrgios, Dominic Thiem and Alexander Zverev have all failed to take over. Besides Medvedev, no one has beaten Nadal or Djokovic in a Grand Slam final. They have become the "Lost Generation".
