Our honest thoughts about Zach’s season premiere…

In this Bachelor recap, we talk about the women who are really sticking out to us as well as our general thoughts about Zach Shallcross as the bachelor and about the direction Zach’s season seems to be taking (spoiler alert: we’re not enthused).

Bachelor Season 27 begins with Week 1, limo entrances, and Zach’s first rose ceremony. While there are plenty of great contestants in the Season 27 cast of women, many people have been calling out the lack of casting diversity and lack of screen time for the women of color. Zach’s first impression rose goes to Greer Blitzer, who is already mired in controversy over racist tweets and questionable political stances. Among the other standouts of Zach’s first night include Charity Lawson, Bailey Brown, Christina Mandrell, and Brianna Thorbourne. Some really cool women received roses, but we’re still pissed to see Vanessa Dinh and Lekha Ravi go home…
