LTE Architecture Basics (4G) - Introduction

This is the First part of the series LTE-Architecture. But before we jump into the architecture we need to understand what gave rise to the need of LTE. So we have focused on four key limitations of previous generations that was addressed in LTE.
We have discussed how OFDMA helped in reducing the multipath propagation. (which was discussed in details in a previous video - provide link).

We have discussed how instead of using the traditional circuit switching mobile operators are migrating towards VOIP for its versatility.

We have also discussed how lower latency in LTE will play crucial role for IOT devices.

We will discuss how overall architecture was upgraded to handle all the limitations in our upcoming videos.

In the later part of this video we discussed about the User Equipment which can be the mobile handset or any other device.
